New Additions
We were absolutely thrilled to welcome two incredibly talented individuals to the co-elevate team this year! The entire company welcomed them with excitement at the prospect of their contributions. Their skills and experience perfectly complemented our existing capabilities, and they have both made significant contributions to our ongoing success. We're looking forward to integrating them into our vibrant work environment and helping them thrive as part of our growing family.
Project Highlights
Amino North American Corporation:
Amino North American Corporation (ANAC) in St. Thomas, is undergoing a 45,000 sq. ft. expansion complete with office renovations. The expansion features a new site entrance from South Edgeware Road, new parking lot with underground storm sewers, and stockpiling of all excavated fill to remain on the site ensuring proper drainage.
Saint Vincent de Paul Housing Initiative
The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul Housing Initiative is a 6-storey affordable apartment building with 73 total units including a common area. Without municipal sewers, a storm and sanitary easement was creatively designed to connect to neighboring Fallon Lane's services.
Pond Inlet Teen Center
The Hamlet of Pond Inlet, Nunavut is looking to building a new Teen Centre to serve the community's youth. Designed as a vibrant and inclusive space, the centre will offer a safe environment for socializing, learning, and personal growth. As all northern projects provide unique challenges with material shortages and severe climates, the civil and structural team had their work cut out for them in the design of this new site. Expected to be completed in 2025.
Team Fun
On October 11th, the civil team took a break from the usual office hustle and hit the links for an afternoon of fun! Despite a few errant drives and sand trap mishaps, laughter echoed across the fairways as friendly competition unfolded. The sun shone, the banter flowed, and even the less-than-stellar scores couldn't dampen the spirits. It was a day of genuine connection and teambuilding that everyone left feeling refreshed and invigorated.
What does 2025 look like?
Looking ahead, the Civil Team is excited about the future to see how we can grow and continue to foster the values and quality of work that are important to us. We are hitting the ground running with some major projects getting underway to be ready for the 2025 construction season that will fast approach!
