’Twas the Year’s End at co-elevate

’Twas the year’s final chapter, and all through the team, 
Not a soul was at rest; we pursued every dream. 
The Fun Club and Charity Council worked with great care, 
To bring joy and giving to all we could share. 

Our journey began with a brisk 5k Run, 
At Maggie’s Run fundraiser in the morning sun. 
We laced up our shoes, and with every stride, 
Hope and goodwill grew far and wide. 

The STEM kids of Waterloo School Board rose to the test, 
Building spaghetti and marshmallow structures with engineers’ zest. 
With volunteers guiding, their passions ignited, 
Engineering dreams were truly delighted. 

The sock drive rolled in with donations galore, 
Warming feet and hearts for those we adore. 
At our Bake Sale on Teams, sweet treats took the prize, 
A silent auction brought funds and delicious surprise. 

When out in the office arose such a clatter, 
It was Halloween costumes, a spirited chatter. 
Games and contests brought spooky delight, 
As witches and goblins ruled the night. 

For Movember, moustaches began to appear, 
Raising funds and awareness as November drew near. 
We even gave hair in a generous deed, 
A symbol of care for those in need. 

I Am co-elevate then took the stage, 
Sharing stories of teamwork, frame by frame, to engage. 
With voices united, our values were clear, 
Inspiring connection throughout the year. 

Our Lunch Trivia Fundraiser brought mental delight, 
Bonding through quizzes that felt just right. 
The Book Club dove into chaos and chance, 
Through Fluke, we pondered life’s strange dance. 

Our year’s charity total—a feat, without peer— 
$3,150 raised for mental health this year. 
From Ottawa to London, KW in between, 
Our support for CMHA was keen. 

As the holidays neared, we gave our time, 
With volunteering acts that felt so sublime. 
The Salvation Army and London Basket Brigade, 
Spread cheer in each basket and gift we displayed. 

We rolled up our sleeves for a blood drive day, 
Giving life-saving gifts in the kindest way. 
And through our Secret Santa Toy Drive, we spread good cheer, 
Gifting toys and surprises as the holidays drew near. 

The Holiday Party was festive and bright, 
An evening of mystery capped off the night. 
With tree trimming, gingerbread houses, and a magical glow, 
Our hearts were as warm as the fires below. 

So here’s to the team, to the joy we create, 
To Fun Club and Charity Council—we truly elevate. 
Exclaiming together, as we turn out the light, 
“Happy Holidays to all, and to all a good night!”
