Welcome Jesse and Adam
Today we are happy to introduce two new team members at co-elevate!
Jesse Martin joins our Kitchener team as a Structural co-op Student. Jesse is currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Waterloo, specializing in structural and geotechnical engineering.
This is Jesse’s fifth co-op placement, with prior experience in structural design, construction inspection, and soil testing. Before university, Jesse gained hands-on experience working in a steel fabrication shop and construction, where he contributed to building barns and shops.
Fun Fact: Jesse is an avid cyclist and has biked solo across Canada!
Adam Fyfe joins our team as an Intermediate Technologist. Adam has completed an Advanced Diploma in Construction Engineering Technology from Niagara College, with a CET designation and BCIN.
With over 10 years of experience as an architectural technologist, Adam has worked for architectural firms, engineering firms, design-build contractors, and independently as a licensed BCIN designer. Adam's portfolio includes a wide range of projects, from high-end homes to everything from ICI to, most recently, agriculture.
In his previous positions, Adam has acted as conceptual designer carrying out projects from concept to completion, while acting as a drafting lead supervising and mentoring junior professionals,.
Fun Fact: Before becoming a design professional, Adam worked as a lifeguard and performed multiple rescues, from deep water drowning to spinal injury rescue!
