Mustaches and Mane Changes: Our Movember Journey

This Movember, the co-elevate team came together to create meaningful change—and have some fun along the way!

A Hair-Raising Competition

The month kicked off with a clean slate (and clean-shaven faces) as team members shaved off their stubble to compete for the coveted Golden Mustache. The stakes? Serious bragging rights and a whole lot of camaraderie!

As the month progressed, the beards and mustaches grew, and so did the excitement. By the end of Movember, we celebrated with a virtual voting system and a team lunch, crowning winners for the best mo’ and best beard style—the illustrious Beard of Brilliance.

We are thrilled to share that over our celebratory lunch the team raised an impressive $523 for Heads Up Guys!

Supporting Men’s Mental Health

Heads Up Guys is a vital organization that provides resources for men facing mental health challenges. Their tools and strategies empower individuals to manage their mental health independently or with professional support. They also equip friends and family with practical ways to offer help.

The team contributions will go a long way in ensuring this incredible organization continues to make a difference for those who need it most.

Hair Donations for a Special Cause

Movember wasn’t just about growing mustaches and raising funds—it was also about giving back in other meaningful ways. A special shoutout to Mo Sistas Sydney and Rachel, who each donated more than 12 inches of their hair!

These generous donations will be sent to Angel Hair for Kids, a program that provides wigs and hair loss solutions to financially disadvantaged children in Canada experiencing hair loss due to medical conditions or treatments.

Movember 2024

Movember at co-elevate was more than just an event—it was a testament to the power of teamwork, generosity, and shared purpose. Whether you grew a mustache, styled a beard, donated funds, or simply cheered from the sidelines, this initiative demonstrated how small actions can collectively make a big difference.
