Spotlight on Neda: Technologist Extraordinaire

At co-elevate, we pride ourselves on being a fun and collaborative team, and no one embodies that spirit quite like Neda, our talented drafter and Nerf gun enthusiast. Neda discovered co-elevate during its transition from Gray and Fick and was immediately drawn to the vibrant, supportive atmosphere. What surprised her most was the use of Scrum/Agile methodology, which initially left her wondering about its daily meetings. However, she soon realized it provided essential structure, helping her to focus on priority tasks and receive mentorship and support easily when needed.

Throughout her journey, Neda has tackled impressive projects, including the intricate Schlegel Oakville project and the Amino pit design, earning her the nickname “pit master.” In her time at co-elevate, Neda has grown from drafting only what was asked of her to critically evaluating engineers’ instructions, which has significantly boosted her confidence and skills. She recently achieved a major milestone by completing her BCIN in Small Buildings, showcasing her dedication to growth and development in her field.

Neda’s playful spirit shines through in the office as she enjoys building Legos and pulling pranks on her co-workers. Neda is preparing to move to our new St. Thomas office as co-elevate expands and celebrates.

Take a look at some of Neda’s epic office pranks.

“My work is precise and serious, but it doesn’t mean I don’t pull a prank or two!”
