Welcome Ashten and Ben

Today we are happy to introduce two new team members at co-elevate!

Ashten Fairhall has joined our team as a Structural Design Student. She is currently enrolled in her fourth year at the University of Waterloo, where she is working towards a Bachelor of Applied Science in Architectural Engineering with a Building Structures Specialization. Throughout her academic journey, Ashten has completed five co-op terms in construction management and engineering, most recently in a structural consulting position.

Driven by her ambition to learn and grow as an aspiring Professional Engineer (P.Eng.), Ashten is excited to gain structural design experience during her work term with the co-elevate team.

Fun Fact: To relax and unwind, Ashten enjoys crocheting and caring for her collection of houseplants!

Ben O’Callaghan has joined our team as a Junior Structural Designer. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo and holds a Master of Applied Science degree, with a focus on structural engineering. Ben brings a wealth of experience, having completed two years of co-op education during his studies. He also spent two years in the UK as a structural designer, where he had the opportunity to travel extensively.

Inspired by his visit to the Sagrada Familia church in Barcelona, Spain, Ben knew structural engineering was his calling. He is eager to develop his skills further with a more focused approach here at co-elevate.

Fun fact: Ben is passionate about formalized dance and knows an impressive range of styles, including square dance, line dance, mambo, bachata, Cuban salsa, east coast swing, west coast swing, Ceili, and waltz! He's always ready to learn a new one too!

Please join us in welcoming Ashten and Ben as they contribute their skills and passion to our thriving team!
