Striking a Chord: Company Retreat Day!

The co-elevate team marked Earth Day this year with a company-wide retreat day at Circle R Ranch! It was a day brimming with connection, competition, and celebration as our team came together.

After the Kitchener office arrived in style, we kicked off the day with icebreakers and team-building activities, relishing the fresh air and shared laughs. Following this, we delved into our quarterly update session – sans screens! It provided us with a moment to reflect on our collective achievements, realign our efforts towards shared objectives, and receive updates on our company goals and VTO (Vision/Traction Organizer).

As the day unfolded, anticipation mounted for the much-awaited guitar duel between our structural and civil departments. The air resonated with the strumming of strings and the harmonious melodies intertwined as Ben and Peter engaged in a musical showdown. What initially began as a duel however, soon transformed into a celebration of creativity and collaboration, showcasing the diverse talents within our team with some sweet jams.

Post-lunch, we put our engineering prowess to the test with the construction of spaghetti towers before setting our sights on axe throwing and archery. With each throw and arrow released, we honed our precision and rallied behind one other with cheers.

As the day came to an end, we gathered in a circle, each sharing a single word encapsulating how we felt in that moment, fostering a sense of unity and connection among us. The day was a testament to the strength of our team, the richness of our talents, and our collective commitment to growth and success!
