Sahar Bader demonstrated her commitment by delivering a presentation at the Western Society of Civil Engineering (WSCE) meeting at Western University on November 16, 2023. 

As a former executive on the WSCE and recent graduate, Sahar felt it was important to share her experiences with current students. She spoke about the benefits of her co-operative work experience and how she has applied her learning to practice in the workplace.

Working as a structural designer, Sahar was able to show students some of her projects to give the attendees a glimpse into the opportunities available. Not many students pursue the extra steps required to obtain a co-op placement, but Sahar encouraged them to do so. Illustrating the benefits of experiencing real life application of their studies and gaining practical experience. 

We are proud to see our team living out our core values both in and out of the office. Sahar’s enthusiasm and commitment to giving back is just one example.
