Commitment to our Community

At the heart of our values lies the commitment to "Contribute to the betterment of our communities". As a team, we believe in actively giving back to the community we call home. Over the past few months, we've been engaged in various meaningful activities, such as participating in charity golf tournaments, joining hands with Reforest London to plant trees, donating blood with Canada Blood Services, and organizing, running, and judging National Student Competitions. These endeavors reflect our dedication to making a positive impact and fostering a stronger, more vibrant community for everyone.

Blood Drive:

Contributing to the betterment of our communities goes beyond just the work we do; it extends to saving lives as well. The privilege of good health is something not everyone is fortunate enough to have, and that's where the power of donating blood comes in. It's incredible to think that a single donation can potentially save up to three lives. Life is unpredictable, and there might come a day when you or a loved one might need the life-saving gift of donated blood. That's why it's crucial to foster a culture of encouragement around blood donations.

At co‑elevate, we are truly fortunate to have a team of caring individuals who selflessly dedicate themselves to helping save lives four times a year through blood donations. It's heartwarming to witness the impact we can make when we come together for such a meaningful cause. So, let's continue to inspire and support each other in making a difference and touching lives in ways that go far beyond our daily endeavors. Together, we can create a positive ripple effect in our communities and bring hope to those in need.

Student Competitions:

As part of our commitment to supporting the advancement of the engineering profession and fostering opportunities for future engineers, co‑elevate proudly served as a silver sponsor for both the Canadian National Steel Bridge Competition (CNSBC) and the Canadian National Concrete Canoe Competition (CNCCC). Over the past two academic years, Dylan Dowling, a Senior Structural Engineer and Partner at co‑elevate, played an important role as the co‑chair for both the CNSBC and the CNCCC, ensuring the success of these events. Adding to the company's involvement, Zak Louwahi, a skilled Structural Engineer from co‑elevate, took on the responsibility of serving as a judge in this year's competitions.

A highlight in this mix is the participation of co‑elevate’s new Junior Structural Designer, Sahar Bader. As she was completing her final year of undergrad, Sahar was a participant at this year’s CNSBC as the Design Captain of the Western Engineering Steel Bridge Association. Such events aim to not only celebrate engineering excellence but also inspire and nurture the talents of aspiring engineers on their journey to shaping the future of the industry.

Reforest London:

London's reputation as the Forest City holds a special place in our hearts, and it's crucial to ensure it remains that way for generations to come. At co‑elevate, we believe in actively contributing to the betterment of our communities, and one way we've taken action is by joining hands with ReForest London to plant trees. Working alongside our co-workers and family members, the co‑elevate team had a fantastic time participating in this meaningful initiative. It's truly heartwarming to witness the collective efforts of our team making a positive impact on our environment. And the best part is that our contribution will continue to bear fruit for years to come, the positive impact of our efforts will not only benefit us but also the future generations who will flourish in this renewed environment.

Golf Tournaments:

At co‑elevate, giving back to the community is an integral part of our values. We actively engage in golf tournaments, and the proceeds from these events are directed towards supporting different charities every year. One notable event that we proudly support is the annual Women in Construction (WIC) Golf Tournament. For the past two years, Taylor Keck, one of co‑elevate’s Partners, has been the Chair of WIC, making a significant impact in empowering women in the construction industry. Through golf tournaments we have supported various causes, including: Big Brothers Big Sisters, My Sister's Place, Gerald Gallacher Foundation, and numerous Women's Shelters. Through these endeavors, we strive to create a positive influence in the lives of those in need and foster a culture of giving within our organization.

At coelevate, we value the community we live in, and are continuously looking for ways to give back to our community.
